The Conference constitutes a forum for the presentation and discussion of recent advances in the following areas:

Prospective authors are invited to submit papers covering basic and applied research. The conference proceedings will be available on a CD-ROM and a Collection of Abstracts will be published.

Student Competition

The conference will sponsor the annual student competition. The students works will be presented in a special session.

Procedures for Submission of Papers

  1. Full paper drafts, or extended abstracts of no less than 1500 words written in English, to be submitted. Due to many requests the deadline for submitting papers has been extended to 6th November, 2008. To submit a paper click here. A signed security clearance form (also available from the same site) is a prerequisite for submission.   2. Papers will be judged based on their scientific and technical content, relevance to the scope of the conference, and originality. Following the reviewing process, approximately the end of November 2008, the authors will be notified whether their paper have been accepted or rejected.
  3. Final manuscripts of accepted papers, together with text-based abstracts, should be uploaded through the conference papers site by February 10, 2009. Manuscript and text-based abstract preparation and formatting instructions will be available at this site. Please note that the conference enforces the "no paper no podium" rule. Authors of extended abstracts should keep this in mind when submitting their work.
  4. Each author is responsible for obtaining all necessary approvals and security clearance from their own or sponsoring organizations. Any expenses incurred to the conference due to the lack of proper security clearance will be charged to the author.
